From Winter Whites to Spring Sartorial Splendor – LGFG Fashion House

Winter tends to be a time when we totally forget about lighter and brighter clothes, especially our whites! This year, heading into Spring, however, they are a big trend.. Anyways, it’s safe to say that neutrals are the new black! It is specially good to lighten up now – when the winter starts to surrender and Spring is already around the corner. The neutrals just give you the positivity and brightness when most of the people are still wearing their blacks and greys. We here in LGFG love every colour of course but the thing is that you don’t always have to match the weather outside.

Although we love the bright white, it still remains a colour best for summertime. In the end of winter it is better to start embracing the lighter palette of sand, caramel and camel tones. They are just as versatile as the dark colours but much less of a downer. So here are some tricks how to style these neutrals:

* The classy cream-coloured trouser:

A pair of ivory-coloured or cream pants are one of menswear’s most underrated items. there’s no better way to instantly class up any outfit. They will literally go with anything. Wear your light coloured (also white!) pants with an elegant camel coat. Together these pieces offer a fresh take on smart-casual that works a treat.

* The forever classy white shirt:

There is no arguing that the white shirt has become an elegant basic, the must-have in our wardrobes (both men’s and women’s). You can style your white shirt with almost anything. But why not give it a try to style it with your beige suit. “Beige” is definitely not a synonym for boring. Make sure that your beige suit is a sharp tailored piece. Otherwise we can’t give you any other recommendation than contacting our executive clothiers who will help you out in this case – www.lgfgfashionhouse.com

Another plus of having a beige suit in your wardrobe is that you can wear it separately in other outfits too.

* Contrast your light neutrals

The first combination by contrasting that comes to mind is probably wearing your whites with black. The forever classy combination. But why not give it a try to skip the black after all and contrast your winter whites with some statement orange or green? Of course keep the light neutrals for the base of your outfit and add some trendy pop colour to it. Perfecto combination for the sun-soaked days around the corner. The trick here is knowing your limits. Remember that adding more than one bright colour instantly kills your look. Just do one colourful piece for your outfit: a shirt, a coat, trousers, jacket or shoes.
