WHO IS KATRIN?
Katrin Kiviselg, a market leader of LGFG who helped to build up the European market and currently works out of Tallinn, Estonia, is an embodiment of what makes a great company great – the ethics, the mindset, the proactive attitude, and of course, the infectious smile. PR Fashion Room had the chance to steal a little bit of time from her busy schedule and ask what exactly it is that makes her and LGFG Fashion House so successful.
WHAT IS LGFG?
LGFG Fashion House was founded in Canada in 2010 by Dimitry Toukhcher who is currently the CEO of the company. By now, it is a highly successful and unique global bespoke brand that works through exceptionally trained clothiers from Perth to Tallinn and Calgary. Between them, clothiers speak 20 different languages and create long-lasting relationships with high class clients who appreciate the fast, precise, and professional service. LGFG uses traditional London-based manufacturers and exceptional CAD tailoring systems to ensure consistency and perfection of products.
What makes LGFG so different amongst companies is the organizational culture of like-minded and highly educated people who love to work hard and are not afraid of failure – which is a necessity in direct sales of high end products to high class customers.
PR Fashion Room has known Katrin Kiviselg for many years and has always admired her confidence and work ethics. She is a clear example that besides innovative approach, LGFG Fashion House has built its success on the quality of its people who are boldly invested into to encourage them to be the best versions of themselves.
KATRIN, WHAT IS YOUR STORY IN LGFG?
I started in LGFG Fashion House in 2013. Back then it had already become one of the largest bespoke tailoring companies in Canada and I had an opportunity to bring LGFG Fashion House to Europe. Obviously Estonia was too small of a market to sell luxury personal suits and our first choice was Frankfurt but because of some challenges we changed the starting city to Paris instead. Could not have been a better choice or a “failure” – establishing ourselves on the market of Paris was quite a challenge and a huge investment – financially and emotionally.
During that year and next we decided to open up 2 new European markets: Amsterdam and Brussels and by now we are in 18 different countries in Europe. Last year we took another huge step and brought our sales operations team to Tallinn that currently serves as our European HQ. By now, it has become one of the busiest training and recruiting centers for our company.
