LGFG Fashion House Keeps a Professional Runway Model and Fashion Journalist on Staff
I have written this blog for a while now and I must admit – it feels good to be a mysterious writer so you couldn’t point your fingers on me when the trend I recommended didn’t suit you… just kidding(?). Even I’m sometimes lazy and could’t care less what I’m wearing. Fashion is a game and we don’t have outright punishment if we sometimes don’t get it right immediately. But it’s good to try new things and come out from our comfort zones. And so did I – thought that maybe it’s about time to write a bit about myself so that you can better understand the motivation and professional training that goes into my advice.
All my life I have been very interested in fashion and that’s the field I’ve been studying and working in. After finishing high school, I was recruited abroad immediately – I was living and working as a professional catwalk and editorial model in Italy, Greece, Turkey and Thailand.
I decided to move back to my home country when I felt the need to go to University and have my bachelor degree studies. I decided to study fashion design, with a specific interest in the history of design because as the saying goes – everything new is just the forgotten old.
Together with University I started to working as a fashion and beauty editor in my country’s most popular website amongst females as well working for their seasonal magazine. I wrote articles about fashion news and trends and also longer and more serious articles in a collaboration with Vogue Italia website Vogue.it. I had an exclusive rights to publish and translate Vogue articles on the website. I also organized photoshoots for the magazine – both fashion editorials and pictures of celebrities – and of course the styling!
I have also worked as a marketing specialist in fashion online store. I am still a freelance fashion journalist and translator and besides that – writing the weekly fashion posts to LGFG Fashion House where I work as a Fashion and Marketing Analyst, bringing my years international modelling and journalism to this highly prestigious brand.
And now that I am not super secretly undercover anymore I will open a new section in this blog! If you have any fashion, trend or style related questions that concern you, then feel free to ask them just by writing a comment to the blog posts! And I will do my best to help you out with my knowledge in the field.
Yours truly,
Lilian Lõhmus (A member of LGFG FashionHouse family)
